About the event

Bringing elite comedy to Wakefield, we're delighted to announce of our first show at Unity Hall with two amazing headline acts - Fin Taylor and Joe Thomas!

Fresh from the viral success of his hit web series Fin vs The Internet, and a sell-out nationwide tour, that comedian your mother doesn't like you seeing is coming to Wakefield and is bringing his brutally funny stand-up. When he's not in a roll-neck making influencers squirm, he's appearing on BBC's Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, The Mash Report and Comedy Central's Roast Battle.

★★★★ ‘Gleefully provocative and packed with big, hard laughs’ -  Guardian

★★★★ ‘A gutsy, ingenious truth-teller with the jokes to back up the attitude’ - Times

★★★★ ‘An invigoratingly good comic. A live thrill to watch’ - I Newspaper

Joe Thomas is best known for staring as Simon in The Inbetweeners (and the two eponymous films that followed). Joe also starred as Kingsley in all four series of Fresh Meat, and as George in Chickens, which he also co-wrote. Most recently Joe starred as Nick in the 2018 feature film The Festival and as Martin Lavender in the BBC2 sitcom White Gold, alongside Ed Westwick and James Buckley. Joe also starred in series 8 of Taskmaster.

Joe is also a regular on the stand-up circuit, delighting audiences up and down the country, while also trying to persuade them he’s not actually a teenage boy.
